Global Community Day’s Strategy & Change Event
4 regions, Maersk
Outcome & Results
The “Future HR” program at Maersk introduced a new organization, IT, and global processes. During the global event “Community Days,” HR employees engaged with the strategy and shaped the conversation through visual designed tools. They created stories and future scenarios. They gave close to 9 in satisfaction score after.
The Challenge
Designing a global event held across four regions for 800 Maersk HR employees. The goal was to communicate HR’s future vision and actively engage employees through involvement and co-creation, fostering commitment and belief in the new direction.
The Design Solution
We designed a day with various knowledge stations ‘Camps’, where employees engaged in visually structured conversation games. Everything was wrapped in a visual identity and on-site wayfinding, creating a space where employees could shape their own narratives about the future of HR.

Employees in the digital department could apply concrete action plans to real situations, bringing more creativity and energy into their daily work.
The Challenge
The team received guidance on identifying areas where they needed more energy and creativity. They worked on defining what creativity meant to them, how they wanted to incorporate it into their work, and where in their daily routines they could apply it.
The Design Solution
We designed and conducted a workshop called Creative Juices, where employees mapped out what creativity meant to them, how they could act more creatively, and in which daily situations. They worked on action-oriented initiatives as solutions to specific work scenarios.

Design Sprint & Visual Learning as Competence building in The Capital Region DK
Outcomes & Results
Through a cross-sector competency program in the Capital Region of Denmark, healthcare professionals can drive learning, change, and co-creation with the patient at the center. This is supported by visual learning products and tools that enhance the process.
The Challenge
The Design Sprint as a strategic development method was implemented in the region’s competency program “Facilitator in Interprofessional Learning and Collaboration” through the creation of visual templates. These templates were used throughout the program and in practice, supporting the learning and collaboration processes.
The Design Solution
We held workshops to build design sprint competencies, starting with the Region’s facilitators of the program. Next, we designed a visual timeline and a set of visual learning templates. Finally, SLUM participates as a facilitator & Partner in the program’s third module.

"
It is so inspiring to collaborate with you on the Design Sprint for our program. We love our new timeline and visual learning products, and they have attracted significant attention from the organization.

Visual Strategy Sprint: New Common News Production Publication JP Politiken DK
Outcomes & Results
Employees across four news media outlets created a visual mockup and sketch of a new shared digital process for producing and delivering news. The design included new roles, a restructured team setup, shared access to reader data, security measures, news flows, and AI integration.
The Challenge
The leadership needed collective alignment in leadership and in their teams across news domains. During the strategy sprint, employees shared and consolidated knowledge and experiences across teams, designing a future-proof digital news production and publishing process, integrating data and organizational structure.
The Design Solution
The leaders participated in a facilitated strategy process to visualise shared future goals and scenarios for the organization and the news market. Following this, employees spent four days collaboratively designing and visualizing a shared news production process that would support these future scenarios.

In a collaborative LAB across HR, Facility Management, and IT, workgroups, employees, and leaders focused on improving the employee experience. The Challenge
Designing a shared ambition for the employee experience at Ørsted and developing a model for improving and co-creating employee experiences alongside employees in EX LAB.
The Design Solution
